Notes |
- From the U. S. Census Records of 1830 for Decatur, Otsego County, New York we find they had 3 sons and two daughters born between 1815 and 1830. From the Surrogate Court Records of the estate of Joshua Irish filed in Cooperstown, New York, we know that his 2nd wife was Phebe and that one of their sons was Albert.
The following deeds are recorded in the Court House at Cooperstown, N.Y.:
l. On 9-15-1808, Isaac C. Irish and David Smith purchased 96 acres in Worcester, Otsego County, New York for $750.
(Page 15, Book L. of Deeds.)
2. On 4-26-1849, Albert and Cornelia Irish sold land in Otsego.
County New York. (Page 76, Book 86 of Deeds).
3. On 1-6-1883, the property of Albert and Cornelia Irish and Isaac Irish was foreclosed on at Cooperstown, New York.
(Page 200, Book 193 of Deeds).
From circumstantial evidence, besides this son, Albert, it seems their other sons were Isaac C., Charles and Stephen, born about 1829, but we have been unable to find any trace of their families.
