There is a book, "The End of the Rainbow (Memoirs of an Octogenarian)", by George Garfield Rutherford. Published by Pageant Press in the early 1960's.
"Garf", as we knew him, was the son of Martha Lavina Irish (1854-1891) and George Rutherford. Martha was also the daughter of Jonathan Irish and Nancy
Close. In this autobiography, Garf tells many stories about growing up on his grandfathers farm in Canada and shares tales of several of his aunts and
uncles. Sadly, he does not name them, but it is possible, thanks to your web page information, to now figure out who he was writing about!
