    • From: Paul Randall
      Her grandfather J. F. Randall was a local preacher ("licensed"); he would
      go to Guysboro interval to preach; he knew Samuel Aikens from here and
      was VERY respectful of him. Martha was named after a Martha Aikens from
      here; this Martha Aikens belonged to the Salvation Army and went to
      Boston where she died of TB doing work in the slums there. [as told to me
      by Martha (Randall) Feltmate herself]
