    Obituary Mrs. Jennie Peck
    Dies at Her Home
    After Long Illness

    Mrs. Jennie Peck, 83, of 105 East Mam St, died at her home at 1:30 p. m. yesterday after an illness of five years. Born in North East, Pa, May 18, 1870, she was the granddaughter of Uncle Bill Smith, who drilled the Drake Well ? Pennsylvania's first producing oil well ? at Titusulle in 1859. She had lived in this city for 63 years. She was a member of the First Methodist Church here Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Paul H. Parle, Detroit, Mich.; one step-daughter, Mrs. Minnie R. Robinson, Buffalo, N. Y.; a son, Charles A Peck, Tampa, Fla.: two grandsons, Paul Henry Parle Jr, Miami, and Pfc Charles J. Parle, U. S. Marine Corps, stationed at Yorktown, Va : one great-grandson, Paul H. Parle III; a sister, Miss Elizabeth Irish, Bradford, and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel during regular hours. Services will be held at the chapel at 1:30 p m Monday with the Rev. Clement B. Yinger pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiating.
    Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
