Mrs. Charles Irish died at her home near the village of Flycreek, Tuesday morning at 6 o'clock, September 3d, 1918. Mrs. Irish was formerly Miss Lottie A. Benjamin and was the daughter of Smith and Esther Benjamin. She was born March 25, 1855, at Wileytown, and was married July 4th, 1872. Mrs. Irish is survived by her husband, daughter, Ida May, sister, Mrs. Frank Russell of Cooperstown, brother, Byron Benjamin of Oaksville, three nieces, Mrs. Maud Davis, and Miss Bertha Russell of Cooperstown, and Daisy Benjamin of Oaksville and one nephew, Earl Benjamin of Oaksville. She was a life long resident of Wileytown and Flycreek, a devoted wife and mother, a respected and esteemed neighbor, a very ambitious woman, and will be sadly missed by her relatives, especially her husband and daughter, who have the condolence of all. The funeral was held Thursday, September 5th, at 3 p. m. at her residence. The services were conducted by Dr. T. F. Hall of Cooperstown, pastor Methodist Episcopal church of Flycreek.
